In Miami, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Florida, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 7:30 am–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Sunset Nursery at (305) 412-3646; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is sunset-nursery.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 124 reviews, which is a strong result for a plant nursery in Miami and suggests consistent service.
